As a Transmission Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing network transmission systems to ensure efficient and reliable data transmission. You will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end build process from conceptualization to execution while fostering innovation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor network performance metrics and conduct a
thorough analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance
gaps and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop standards, policies and processes for network
planning, implementation and operation. • Improve the efficiency of
resources through automation and standardization.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field.
Minimum Experience & Skills
- At least seven (7 years) in network transmission engineering,
with a focus on design, implementation and optimization.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to
inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Has developed and operationalized standards for activations of
Transmission (DWDM, OTN, SDH) networks.
- Has automated provisioning/reporting of network services and
capacity.
- Has implemented PNI/LNI systems for Transmission (DWDM, OTN,
SDH) networks.
- Knowledge of relational databases and data querying languages.
