Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, the technician will
diagnose and service the vehicles within the set Company SOPs to ensure
successful and high quality and exemplary customer service and achievement of
set Company Performance Targets
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Perform routine (360 degree) automotive maintenance tasks,
including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air
conditioner re-charge, front-end alignments, suspensions, battery
installations and headlight/taillight installations.
- Carry out analysis on vehicle functional condition by
listening to vehicle owner complaints; conducting inspections and giving
accurate report.
- Confirm customer receiving memo/job card order contents after
Inspecting vehicle preventive maintenance, conducting extensive diagnostic
procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide
accurate repair recommendations.
- Promptly handle customer complaints and provide closure within
the 72 hours.
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to
verify soundness.
- In liaison with the Service Advisor; maintain legible and
accurate Job card vehicle records for both the customer and for the
Company.
- Ensure all customer and company vehicles including workshop
tools and equipment are handled appropriately, exercising due care and
control. Comply with Company Health and Safety regulations and safe
working practices.
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering
More Details on Experience
- Three (3) years of automotive-related experience in a leading
automotive institution.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and automotive equipment

- Excellent customer service and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Computer applications.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understands high level of safety in the workshop and sites
