Responsible for conducting research and data analysis, supporting policy and programme research, collecting and managing research data, interpreting findings, preparing research reports, and supporting innovation initiatives within the county. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Research Methodology, Economics, Public Policy, Project Management, or an equivalent field. The position is based in Kisumu and requires on-site work.
Qualifications
For
appointment to this position a candidate must:
- Be a
citizen of Kenya;
- Have
served in a relevant office setting for a minimum period of three (3)
years;
- Hold
a Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Research
Methodology, Economics, Public Policy, Project Management or its
equivalent from a university recognized in Kenya;
- Working
knowledge of tools: – SPSS, STATA, R, E-views, Excel or its equivalent.
- Training/certification
in Research Methodology and data analysis/policy is an added advantage and
- Satisfy
the requirements of Chapter (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
