PR & Tour promoting and marketing tours, safaris, and travel services, requiring a Certificate or Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management with 5+ years experience in tourism or public relations, in a travel/tourism environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote
and market the Company’s tours, safaris, car hire and travel services.
- Build
and maintain strong client relationships, providing professional
communication, excellent customer service and handling client feedback or
concerns.
- Assist
in planning and coordinating tours, excursions and safari arrangements.
- Represent
the Company professionally in all client interactions and support public
relations, marketing and business development activities.
Minimum Qualifications &
Requirements
- Certificate
or Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management, Hospitality, Public
Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- At
least 5 years experience in tourism, travel, hospitality, public
relations, customer service or a similar role.
- Good
knowledge of Kenyas tourism and safari industry.
- Good
knowledge of Nairobi and its environs, including tourist attractions,
hotels and key travel destinations.
- Excellent
communication, interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Confident,
presentable and able to interact professionally with local and
international clients.
- Good
computer skills and ability to use email and digital communication
platforms.
- Strong
customer service, sales and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated,
organized and able to work under pressure.
- Valid
driving licence is an added advantage.
