- Swisscontact Kenya serves as the regional office for the CESAF
region and the hub for programs across Kenya. For over two decades,
Swisscontact Kenya has empowered youth through entrepreneurship, financial
inclusion, market-driven skills training, and sustainable development
projects. The organization is currently implementing a diverse portfolio
of projects spanning Agribusiness, Eye Healthcare, Digital Skills, Green
Skills and E-Mobility entrepreneurship, including PropelA, which focuses
on youth skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship in
electrical, plumbing & lift mechanics trades.

Communications Lead
- The Communications Intern (Multimedia Content Production) will
contribute to the organization’s communications and visibility objectives
by producing engaging visual and digital content that highlights programme
results, learning, and impact. The intern will support content capture,
editing, storytelling, and social media content development across events,
field visits, and project activities, helping to strengthen stakeholder
engagement and organizational visibility.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Multimedia
Content Production
- Capture high-quality photos and videos during events, field visits,
and programme activities.
- Edit and produce multimedia content, including photographs, videos,
reels, short-form clips, and other digital assets for social media,
websites, presentations, and communications materials.
- Work with project teams to identify content opportunities and
showcase programme results, learning, and impact.
- Support the development of visual stories, interviews, event
highlights, and post-event recap content for internal and external
audiences.
- Maintain and organize digital content assets in line with
organizational guidelines and standards.
Additional
Responsibilities
- Support the country communications lead and any other Swisscontact
Kenya activities as required
Skills & Experience
- A degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media,
Film Production, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrable skills in photography, videography, and multimedia
content production.
- Knowledge of camera operation and mobile photography/videography
techniques.
- Proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as Canva,
Adobe Express, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom,
Microsoft Clipchamp, PowerPoint, or similar software.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital content formats,
and emerging content trends.
- Ability to translate programme activities, results, and impact into
engaging visual and digital content.
- Graphic design skills and experience will be an added
advantage.
