AIC Kijabe Hospital is hiring a Mobile Education Program Officer to coordinate education initiatives, support training programs, manage outreach activities, and improve learning access within communities. The role is based in Kijabe and experience in program coordination is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of maternal and surgical health
programmes in collaboration with GSF local stakeholders
- Develop programme strategies, theory of change and implementation
plans aligned with institutional priorities
- Oversee operations of the Kijabe Hospital’s Centre for Simulation
and Patient Safety mobile training programs
- Develop administrative systems to support training programs,
faculty, and learners
- Support implementation of GSF Women’s Health programmes in LMIC
settings
- Develop teaching materials, facilitator guides, and assessment tools
- Track programme deliverables and ensure compliance with donor
requirements
- Coordinate and participate in international training programs and
stakeholder engagements
- Strengthen partnerships with ministries of health, NGOs, and
training institutions
- Represent Kijabe Hospital and GSF in regional and international
forum
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and cross-site learning between
programmes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Health Systems, Medical
Education or a related field ( Masters Preferred)
- Clinical background( MD, MMED, Clinical Officer, Nursing , Allied
Health and Medical Education)
- Minimum five(5) years in programme management, clinical education or
global health
- Experience in curriculum development and training delivery
- Experience working in LMIC Health Systems
- Registration with relevant professional body (e.g, KMPDC, COC, NCK)
