Talent Coordinator Job in Kenya - Lady Askari

Lady Askari is hiring a Talent Coordinator skilled in talent acquisition, recruitment support, and HR coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and vet a qualified external talent pipeline of consultants and vendor personnel (Close Protection Officers, security risk managers, safety advisors, meet &greet facilitators, trainers, translators) across all operational markets.
  • Manage the sourcing, screening, assessments, reference checks, offers, and onboarding handover.
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, training institutions, industry events, and direct outreach.
  • Maintain and review quarterly the “Ready Now / Ready Soon /Ready Later” succession pipeline with the operational leadership.

  • Manage and maintain the consultant database, ensuring all consultant profiles include accurate, up-to-date contracts, NDAs, licenses, and certifications.
  • Ensure HR policy compliance, employment law adherence, and HR best practices.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of external consultants

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a closely related field; or a Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in recruitment.
  • Proficiency in sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, Facebook, conferences, and referral networks.
  • Skilled in scorecard-based candidate assessment.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French and/or Spanish is an added advantage.
  • Customer service–oriented, with a commitment to treating every candidate with professionalism and respect, regardless of hiring outcome.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Formal training in structured behavioural interviewing and/or psychometric assessment administration.
  • Membership or registration with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), Kenya, or an equivalent professional HR body in the applicant’s home country.
  • Proven experience recruiting for security, protective services, fleet operations, 24/7 operational environments, or personnel deployment across borders.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting employee deployment and mobilization cycles.
  • Experience working within a multi-entity or group company structure.
