accessible across Kenya. We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and
highly organized Accountant to support
financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all
accounting processes.

Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall financial decision-making. This role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to
support decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring
timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger, and
resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Record and classify financial transactions
(including payroll, payables, and receivables).
- Prepare budgets and monitor financial
performance against set targets.
- Conduct variance analysis and support financial
forecasting.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure business
liquidity.
- Support cost control initiatives and improve
financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and
statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns in line with
applicable laws.
- Assist in audits and liaise with internal and
external auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to
minimize financial risks.
- Support inventory management and other financial
processes where applicable.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial
planning and reporting.
Key
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar
role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and
financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g Zoho
Books) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail,
and organization.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
