The
Project:
Community-Focused Oral-Health Research for Equity
(CORE), is a NIHR Global Health funded programme led by Professor Richard Watt
(University College London) and Dr. Carol Guarnizo Herreno (National University
of Colombia). The programme aims to assess the impact of oral health
inequalities within the four Low- and Middle-Income countries; Colombia,
Brazil, Kenya, and India and determine the influence of commercial determinants
on oral health and test public health interventions and system reforms to reduce
oral health inequalities.
The
position:
The position holders will join a multi-country research programme, contributing to the development of research protocols, training research staff, collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data, and preparing research outputs.
This six-month position, renewable subject to funding availability, offers an exciting opportunity for early-career researchers with an interest in dental public health.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Dental Public Health or a
related field, or substantial research experience in a global health
setting.
- Experience in training research teams and
collecting/analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and
collaboratively with partners.
