Responsibilities
- Implement the company’s Social Media marketing
strategy
- Running Jumia social media accounts (Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, blogs)
- Develop content, brand awareness, and generate
traffic to the various accounts
- Cultivate leads by reaching out to people on
social media and turning this to sales
- Ensure consistent growth of likes, fans,
followers, tweets, reach and engagement of our
- customers
- Attend and share Jumia events with the online
community
- Ensure status updates, landing pages or Facebook
ads create a lasting effect on the audience
- Promote and grow the Jumia brand online
- Listen, respond, ask questions and engage with
the audience
- Create relevant content to reach the company’s
ideal customers.
- Create and manage all published content (images,
video and written).
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a
“Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Oversee design (Timeline cover, profile pic,
thumbnails, ads, landing pages, profiles and blogs)
- Compile report for management showing results of
engaging on social media
- Become an advocate for the Company in Social
Media spaces
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools,
applications, channels, design and strategy.
- Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of
campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Qualifications
- Degree/ Diploma in Business/ Marketing/ PR/
Communication
- Excellent IT skills especially using web
applications and Other ERP software
- At least 4 year experience handling social media
in an agency.
- Social Media enthusiast, influential online
personality etc.
- Sharp, outgoing and up to date individual.
