Job Summary
The
selected candidate will provide administrative support to the Agriculture Field
Operations Teams, ensuring efficient coordination of field activities, accurate
data management, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage permits and approvals for agricultural and logistical
activities.
- Support planning and execution of cane harvesting and development
(scheduling, transport coordination, vehicle use).
- Facilitate accurate farmer payments and monitor
recoveries/outstanding balances.
- Oversee office administration, staff performance, discipline, and
welfare within the region.
- Maintain up-to-date farmer records (contracts, acreage,
reconciliation support).
- Prepare regular reports and coordinate with key departments.
- Ensure adherence to policies, support audits, and drive continuous
improvement.
- Support and coordinate block farming and group farming initiatives.
- Coordinate field activities across zones.
- Facilitate processing of farmer contracts.
- Monitor departmental expenses and assist in budgeting.
- Facilitate communication between management, field staff, and
farmers.
- Track staff performance and ensure compliance with company
procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management, Business
Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in
administration, preferably in an agricultural environment.
- Skills: Experience with field operations and data management is an
added advantage.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
