About the Program
The
aim of the Ajira Digital Phase 2 program is to improve the livelihoods for
young women and men, including persons with disabilities and refugees, through
inclusive digital skills and employment, contributing to equitable growth and
social transformation across the ASALs, rural and other marginalized
communities.
Job Purpose
The
Training and Mentorship
Coordinator is
responsible for coordinating Training and Mentorship activities, supporting
Trainers, and ensuring young people transition from training to digital work.
The role focuses on strengthening learner support systems and improving
training outcomes across the program.
Training Support and Coordination
Support
planning and coordination of Training programs across regions.
Work closely with Trainers and Regional Coordinators to ensure effective
delivery of Ajira curriculum.
Ensure training standards and learner engagement are maintained.
Mentorship
Program Management
- Design and coordinate structured mentorship programs for Ajira
trainees.
- Provide mentorship support to youth transitioning to digital work
opportunities.
- Develop mentorship resources and guidance materials for Trainers and
Centers.
Learner
Progress Tracking
- Monitor trainee progress and completion rates.
- Identify learners needing additional support and coordinate
mentorship interventions.
- Track youth transitioning to digital work opportunities.
Training
Quality Improvement
- Gather feedback from trainees and Trainers.
- Identify areas for improvement in training delivery and mentorship
support.
- Recommend strategies to improve learner outcomes.
Reporting
and Documentation
- Maintain mentorship records and program documentation.
- Submit regular reports on mentorship activities, training outcomes,
and learner progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s
Degree in Education, ICT, Social Sciences, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in training coordination, mentorship programs, or
youth development initiatives.
Strong facilitation, mentorship, and coordination skills.
Skills & Competencies
