Recruitment Of Capital Markets Investor Education Volunteer Resource Persons
- Are you passionate about giving back to society
at the grassroot level?
- Are you familiar with various aspects of the
capital markets in Kenya?
- Do you have some experience with events
management and public speaking, and are you comfortable dealing with
groups of approximately 30 people or more?
- Have you personally invested, or have an
interest, in shares and Bonds listed within the Nairobi Securities
Exchanges and in Collective Investments Schemes (Unit Trusts)?
The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has an exciting
opportunity for volunteers to conduct investor education speaking engagements
targeting the general public particularly at the County level over a period of
twenty-four (24) months on a part time basis.
Responsibilities
The main objective of this initiative is to increase
awareness and participation in the capital markets by effectively engaging the
various target groups. This is in line with one of the Capital Markets
Authority’s mandate to promote investor education and public awareness
throughout the Country.
A small stipend will be given for each engagement
subject to terms and conditions
