Role: Investment Assistant – Western Kenya
Key Responsibilities:
- Support entrepreneurs through the loan application process and
ensure all required documentation is complete
- Collect, organize, and verify financial and business information for
loan assessments
- Capture accurate financial and business data into portfolio
management systems
- Track loan repayments and conduct follow-ups through calls,
messages, or business visits
- Prepare repayment status updates, dashboards, and portfolio reports
- Maintain organized digital loan records for compliance, audit, and
reporting purposes
- Collaborate with program teams by sharing business insights and
supporting financial literacy initiatives
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling assessments,
meetings, and investment committee documentation
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting,
Business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and teamwork ability
- Experience working with entrepreneurs or SMEs is an added advantage
