Customer Support Agent Job in Kenya - Influx

Role Overview

We are looking for Voice-Trained Agents who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Be voice-trained with prior experience (strongly preferred)
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Speak fluent, standard English with an upbeat personality
  • Be detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Communicate thoroughly and promptly
  • Be resilient, able to work under pressure, and not easily intimidated
  • Be a fast learner and strong multi-tasker (comfortable navigating multiple tabs)
  • Have no known illnesses or breathing conditions that may affect voice performance
  • Be punctual, dependable, and professional
  • Be available to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST / 8:00 AM–4:00 PM CST (8-hour shifts)
  • Commit to a long-term engagement, as the client values low turnover

Key Responsibilities


  • Assist customers via the RingCentral app with installation-related inquiries
  • Contact installers via text through RingCentral to provide accurate customer updates
  • Coordinate with schedulers to arrange installation times
  • Add detailed project notes in Quickbase for internal follow-up
  • Handle 90–120 calls per day, with an average handle time of 2–3 minutes
  • Professionally de-escalate calls involving frustrated or irate customers

Technical Requirements (BYOD)

  • Laptop (no Chromebook, Linux OS, or desktop)
  • Windows 10 or higher (32-bit OS)
  • 8GB RAM minimum
  • Intel Core i5 or higher
  • High-speed internet: 50–55 Mbps download & upload
  • Wired, noise-canceling headset
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace
