Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager and Content Creator will be responsible for
developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to
enhance brand awareness, engage with the target audience, drive traffic, and
generate leads for our automotive services. This role requires a creative individual
with a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation,
community management, and performance analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with
business goals and target audience, focusing on platforms relevant to the
relevant market (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube).
- Content Creation: Create
engaging and high-quality content, including text posts, images, videos
(short-form for TikTok/Reels, longer-form for YouTube), stories, and
potentially live sessions. This content will showcase services, expertise,
customer testimonials, educational tips, and promotions.
- Community Management:
Actively coordinate with Customer Reps to manage and engage with followers
across all social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and
inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and
interactive online community.
- Platform Management:
Oversee the day-to-day management of all social media accounts, ensuring
content is scheduled, up-to-date, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Social Listening: Monitor
social media conversations and brand mentions to identify trends,
opportunities, and potential issues.
- Performance Analysis:
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (reach,
engagement, website traffic, leads) to evaluate the effectiveness of
strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- SEO Integration (Social
Media Aspect): Utilize relevant keywords and hashtags to optimize social
media content for search and discoverability.
- Campaign Management: Plan
and execute social media campaigns for service launches, promotions, and
events.
- Staying Updated: Keep
abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., service technicians) to
gather information for content and ensure brand consistency.
- Budget Management :
Manage a budget for social media advertising and tools.
- Create Compelling Calls
to Action (CTAs): In your social media posts, clearly tell users what you
want them to do (e.g., “Read more on our blog)
- Track Social Media
Traffic in Google Analytics: Ensure Google Analytics is set up to track
traffic coming from your social media platforms. Use UTM parameters in
your shared links to identify which social media posts and campaigns are
driving the most valuable traffic.
- Collaborate with
Website/SEO Teams: Collaborate with website developer for SEO resource,
the Social Media Manager should collaborate with them to ensure alignment
on content promotion and keyword strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’
experience as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator.
- Strong understanding of
social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and
their respective best practices.
- Excellent content
creation skills, including writing, photography, and videography (and
basic video editing).
- Experience with social
media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Ability to analyze social
media data and generate reports.
- Strong communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and a keen eye
for detail.
- Understanding of the
automotive local social media trends is a plus.
