Specific Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and monitor financial reports, and monthly
cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making;
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and monitoring
expenses to ensure cost efficiency;
- Ensure that proper financial procedures/systems are operated
and maintained in compliance with relevant institutional policy and
accounting standards;
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable
and receivables, payroll, general ledger functions and ensure timely
remittance of deductions;
- Ensure timely and accurate examination of all vouchers for
approval and further ensure that all payments processed are within
approved work plan & budget
- Prepare and maintain an inventory of the institution assets
for accounting and insurance purposes;
- Ensure adherence to government laws, donor policies, and
internal financial procedures;
- Direct and oversee all aspects of administrative support for
the Institution including but not limited to office management and
logistics;
- Oversee the procurement i.e. manage purchasing, supplier
databases, and material/inventory records of the Institution.
- Human resources support for example assists with medical
cover, and staff welfare priorities;
- Coordinate with internal staff, management, and external
partners and/or banks, and financial institutions;
- Maintain physical and electronic filing systems for all
records and manage libraries at the headquarters and distribution of
materials to equitably between headquarters and ISK branch networks;
- Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned.

Technical Skills:
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting),
Business Administration (Accounting Option), or related fields;
- A holder of CPA(K) qualifications;
- Accounting Software e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, SUN System, Xero.
- Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Advanced Excel and Word skills,
Access, Power Point are vital.
- Membership to a professional body will be an added advantage;
- Professional training in human resource and administration
will be an added advantage;
- At least 8 years experience in the accounting and finance
field in non-profit organization, membership associations etc.
