Job Summary
The
purpose of this role is to support project activities for the second phase of
the IDRC study in Nairobi, Isiolo and Lamu titled “Care for All: Catalyzing
Care Innovations in Marginalized and Vulnerable Communities in Kenya’s Arid and
Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL)”

We are
seeking to hire One (1) Field Enumerator – Consultant
Specific Tasks
- Support project administrative activities
including scheduling, coordination, and record-keeping.
- Familiarize with data collection tools, study
protocols, and the consenting process to ensure compliance with ethical
and methodological standards.
- Introduce participants to the study, obtain
informed consent, and conduct data collection activities in line with
approved protocols.
- Document all field activities and community
engagement processes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper
storage of raw data and study documents.
- Digitize data accurately by entering information
from hard copy documents into the designated databases.
- Ensure proper handling and secure storage of
study documents and samples in accordance with project guidelines.
- Provide regular progress updates and timely
reports on data collection activities, challenges, and emerging insights.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Degree/Diploma in Social Science, Economic or
any other related field.
- Proficiency in the use of smart phone/tablet
/computer is required.
- Familiarity with research ethics.
- Ability to work within tight schedules under
minimal supervision.
- Should be fluent in English/Swahili
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
