Requirements for Appointment
For
appointment to this grade, one must have:
- Be a Citizen of Kenya;
- Served in the grade of Senior Administration
Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following
disciplines:- Public Administration, Business Administration/Management,
Community Development or any other Social Science from a recognized
institution;
OR
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines:-
Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community
Development or any other Social Science plus a
Supervisory Management Course or equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Administrative Officers Examination (PCSK);
- Certificate in computer application from a
recognized Institution; and
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in
work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organizing and coordinating official events;
- Verifying guest lists and seating arrangements;
- Coordinating arrangements for press coverage of
official functions;
- Facilitating linkage with other institutions and
organizations;
- Ensuring efficient and effective communication
with stakeholders and visitors to the office of the Governor and/or County
Government;
- Ensuring proper etiquette for official
engagements; and
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to
time

form, together with certified copies of applicant’s National Identity Card,
professional certificates, academic certificates and transcripts, should be
submitted to the Kitui County Public Service Board jobs portal on or before
Wednesday 4th February, 2026.
