Duties
- Assist in the implementation of administrative
functions of the division, department, school, Unit or section.
- Taking minutes in various committees.
- Supervision of staff under them.
- Advice the head of department on all matters
relating to the department.
- Assist in the setting and implementation of the
departmental PC targets.
- Assist in the adherence to the Quality
Management Standards (QMS) for the implementation of the performance
management system of the department.
- Support planning and budgeting in the division,
department, school, Unit or section.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned by the
supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
For
appointment to this grade, one MUST have:
Must Have
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
from a recognized University.
- Be proficient in computer applications packages.
- Have one (1) year of relevant administrative
experience.
- Certified Secretaries (CS) Level I will be an
added advantage.
- Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the
2010 Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful
appointment.
