Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in performing routine laboratory tests on
raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Record and analyze test results to ensure
products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Observe and assist in monitoring production
processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify deviations or non-conformities and
report them to supervisors for corrective action.
- Maintain accurate quality records, including
test results, inspection reports, and corrective action logs.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly
quality reports for management review.
- Support the implementation of Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and
other regulatory food safety standards.
- Assist in internal audits and help prepare for
external inspections when required.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions to
improve product quality and production efficiency.
- Suggest ideas for process optimization and
reduction of waste or defects.
- Work closely with production, procurement, and
quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.
- Assist senior quality staff in training new
employees or interns on quality procedures and standards.
Key Requirement Skills And Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology,
or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and
quality control principles
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing
facility is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills,
and willingness to learn
