Our client is an international construction and engineering company with a strong presence in Kenya and across East Africa. The firm is recognized for delivering high-quality infrastructure and building projects through innovative design, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.

They are seeking a dependable and organized Office Administrator to provide administrative, procurement, and coordination support to the project team. The role will ensure smooth site operations, proper documentation, and timely communication between office and field staff.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the project and engineering teams.
  • Arrange travel logistics, such as transportation and hotel accommodation for visitors
  • Coordinate procurement, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project files, correspondence, and records.
  • Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
  • Support the onboarding and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ensure timely communication between site and head office teams.
  • Handle petty cash and basic accounting, and office supplies management.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, safety, and documentation procedures.
  • Handle staff timesheets and other HR coordination at the site.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in administrative support within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive work attitude.
