TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: 6 months renewable contract
Duties and responsibilities shall entail:
- Verifying compiled statistical records for
accuracy;
- Processing of human resource records and
accounting transaction;
- Maintaining efficient filing system;
- Safe custody of invoices, receipts, vouchers and
related records;
- Processing appointments, promotions, discipline
cases, transfers and other related duties in human resource management;
- Preparing payment vouchers;
- Computing financial or statistical records based
on routine or special sources of information;
- Drafting routine correspondences;
- Drafting indents for advertisement;
- Assisting Administrative officers/Assistnts in
matters clerical work; and
- Mentoring and guiding other junior clerical
officers.
For appointment to this grade, one must:
- Have a Diploma in any of the following
disciplines: Human Resource Management, Supply Management, Records
Management, Business Administration or Kenya Accountants and Technicians
Certificate (KATC), Intermediate level of Kenya Administration and
Management Examination (KAME), offered by Kenya Accountants and
Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB) or an equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution;
- KCSE D Plus or equivalent from a recognized
institution
- Have at least eight (8) years relevant working
experience;
- Be of proven integrity, transparency and
accountability;
- Be Proficient in computer applications.;
- Have demonstrated professional competence in
discharging the Clerical work; and
- Meet the provisions of Chapter Six of the
Constitution of Kenya (2010) on Leadership and Integrity upon successful
appointment.
