Assistant Accountant Job in Kenya - BBROOD

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and maintain A/R and A/P accounts. Ensure payments and collections are done in a timely manner
  • End-to-end management of corporate customer accounts
  • Ensure compliance with tax as well as other regulatory payment and licensing requirements
  • Maintain a clear record of the company’s assets
  • Perform regular stock takes 
  • Assist in monthly financial Profit and Loss reporting to the company’s management and directors, as well as any other reports as required.
  • Assist here required in the roasting operations, especially regarding preparing and coordinating shipments to customers.
  • Provide accounting assistance to the Stean’s Beans group as required

Key Requirements


  • Holder of at least CPA (II) with 2-3 years’ experience. Experience in retail environment is a must
  • Independent worker who can manage her/his own time well
  • Good communicator who is able to work with remote partners in the Netherlands as required
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to be involved in various aspects of a small company as required.
  • Experience with stock management and dispatching will be an advantage
  • Experience with Quickbooks will be an advantage
  • Affinity with coffee is a must
