Duties and responsibilities
An
officer in this level is responsible for:
- Driving University vehicles
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Reporting any vehicle defects to immediate
supervisor
- Observing vehicle preventive maintenance
- Adhere closely to the highway code
- Be courteous and professional in dealing with
passengers
- Ensuring work-tickets authorized.
- Provide daily preventive maintenance of vehicles
Requirements for appointment
For
appointment to this grade one must have:
- KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification
- Valid Driving License Class B/C1 with PSV
endorsement
OR
Valid
Driving License Class B/C1 with endorsement of G
- Passed Occupational Trade Test II for PSV
drivers
- At least four (4) years working experience
