Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide safe and punctual transportation for the
employer and authorized individuals.
- Plan routes and accommodate last-minute travel
changes or requests.
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean,
well-maintained, and fueled.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and
coordinate timely servicing and repairs.
- Maintain a logbook of travel times, mileage, and
fuel usage.
- Observe all traffic laws and regulations,
ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
- Drive during day and night hours, ensuring
alertness and vision are sufficient for night driving.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the
employer’s personal and professional matters.
- Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and
customer service in all interactions.
- Handle errands and deliveries as requested.
Key Requirement Skills And Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of solid, verifiable experience
as a personal or professional driver
- A valid Kenyan driving license with a clean
driving record
- Proven knowledge of Nairobi and its environs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including
evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Good eyesight and ability to drive at night
without difficulty
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle operations
and maintenance
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and
strong work ethics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, responsible, and well-groomed
