Key Responsibilities:
- The
role is a salesperson for the NCBA IB -brokerage business, mostly
equities, however, the ability to cross sell different assets is a
positive.
- The
candidate is expected to already have relationships with
institutional investors locally and preferably internationally too.
- They
will also be speaking to a small number of high-net-worth
individuals, who require specialist coverage.
- This
position serves as the primary interface between customers and NCBA
IB’s trading and research teams, facilitating seamless communication
and execution of customer requirements daily.
- During
transactions such as placements, IPOs etc they will coordinate the
sales effort.
- The
individual will take ownership of planning and coordinating roadshows
for both analysts and customers. They will work with the research team to
craft trading ideas and highlight areas of interest to our customers.
- The
role requires someone with attention to detail, an ability to
maintain relationships with asset managers, knowledge of markets and
corporates and an understanding of economics/finance.
- Strong communication
skills both verbal and written are vital.
Qualifications
Academic &
Professional
- Bachelor’s
degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or any other
acceptable degree from a recognized University.
- CISI

Specifications
- ICIFA
Membership.
- Proficiency
in MS Office applications.
- Proficiency
in the use of Bloomberg.
Desired work
experience:
- Experience
of sales in a securities brokerage.
- Evidence
of having worked with institutional investors and existing relationships
- Knowledge
and experience with offshore investors are a strong preference.
- Deep
knowledge of the Capital Markets.
