IB Programme Coordinator Job in Kenya - Rose of Sharon Academy

Rose of Sharon is hiring an IB Programme Coordinator skilled in IB curriculum management, teacher mentorship, academic leadership, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the school’s final stage of the IBDP authorization and evaluation journey
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing coordination of RSA’s IBDP programme
  • Build a culture of inquiry, international-mindedness, and continuous improvement across the school.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between RSA and the International Baccalaureate (IB).

  • Lead professional learning and instructional coaching to strengthen IB teaching and learning.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Diploma Programme, including assessment, the DP Core (TOK, EE and CAS), and examination administration.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject
  • Minimum 8 years of classroom teaching in an international or high-performing curriculum setting
  • Experience leading or supporting an IB candidacy, authorization, programme evaluation or verification process will be a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum three years’ successful teaching experience within the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Official IB professional development: Category 2 required 2; Category 3 will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated understanding of the IB Standards and Practices and current developments in IB education.
  • Previous experience coordinating an IB programme or demonstrating academic leadership within an IB World School will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in IBIS and ManageBac or equivalent IB platforms preferred
