Job Objective
The position holder will be responsible for providing
administrative support that ensures the smooth day-to-day functioning of campus
services, including: security supervision, facility management and maintenance,
asset management, and coordination of operations supporting campus activities.
etc. Reporting to the Campus Director, the role will include, but is not
limited to, the following responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities
- Support
campus security by monitoring premises, patrolling designated areas, and
reporting any irregularities.
- Ensure
adherence to safety procedures and assist in emergency situations as
required.
- Oversee
the implementation of security guidelines and maintain accurate records of
incidents.
- Maintain
accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and operational reports.
- Prepare
and file reports on attendance, asset movement, and operational matters.
- Supervise
routine campus operations such as cleaning schedules and maintenance
follow-ups.
- Support
the coordination of facility repairs and ensure assets are properly
secured and accounted for.
- Assist
in opening and closing the campus in compliance with security protocols.
- Provide
courteous assistance to students, staff, and visitors by responding to
inquiries and offering directions as needed.
- Escalate
any grievances or feedback to the Campus Director promptly.
- Contribute
to a positive campus environment by upholding high standards of service.
- Liaison
with local administration security for daily activities and
irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of
unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Ensuring
that plants in the lawns and grounds are well-maintained and adequately
watered daily between 6:00 am 9:00 am and 5:00 pm 7:00 pm.
- Liaise
with the local security administration and security team on any security
issues and concerns
- Any
other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or as
captured in the detailed job description.
Qualification
and experience
- A
minimum of a Certificate in Criminology, Security studies or a related
field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum
5 years experience in security, facilities management or operations role.
- Proficiency
in computer applications (MS Office, email, data entry).
- Demonstrated
experience in record keeping, reporting, and documentation.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
