Litigation Associates (5 Positions)
Job Purpose
To represent the Company and its insureds clients in court and ensure effective
handling of all legal matters including litigation, claims defense and dispute
resolution.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Prepare
pleadings, court documents, and legal opinions.
- Represent
the company and its insureds in court and at tribunals.
- Advise
on litigation risks and appropriate legal strategies.
- Attend
pre-trial conferences and negotiate settlements.
- Maintain
and update court diaries and status reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor
of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
- Postgraduate
Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
- Current
Practicing Certificate.
- At
least 3 years post-admission experience in civil litigation.
- Insurance
litigation experience is an added advantage.
