Within our entity Lesaffre Kenya, you will ensure product quality and support innovation by conducting baking tests, monitoring performance, handling non-conformities, and providing technical support for new product development. You will contribute to increasing sales of Lesaffre yeasts and ingredients, through market knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Conduct
comparative yeast tests and regular baking trials
- Control
the quality of improvers, mixes, and release agents before market release
- Report
non-conformities and follow up on deviations
- Maintain
records and quality reports
- Ensure
high hygiene standards in the baking lab
- Suggest
continuous improvement ideas
- Handle
customer complaints and prepare technical reports
- Support
R&D teams in product development projects
- Assist
the sales team with industrial, craft, and in-store clients
- Identify
customer needs and turn them into technical projects
- Collaborate
with bakers and formulators on product development
- Lead
technical trainings and product demonstrations
- Report
visits and trials in the CRM system
- Share
field feedback with internal teams
- Present
results and recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- Diploma
or bachelor’s degree in food science or in the bakery
industry. Experience in craft baking, product testing, industrial
bread production and laboratory analysis
Technical Skills :
- Strong
knowledge of confectionery and cake decoration
- knowledge
and practices of the Kenyan breadmaking market
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
