Duties and Responsibilities
The
duties and responsibilities are:
- Undertaking routine library duties
- Filing cards
- Recording incoming publications and checking against invoices
- Routine cataloguing and classifying
- Issue library materials
- Maintain general library records
- Prepare library exhibits
- Managing of Hospital and medical school library services
- Indexing and abstracting
Knowledge and Skills Required:
The
jobholder must possess;
- Diploma in Library Services from a recognized institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Should have strong analytical and be result oriented
- Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice
- Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages
