As we seek to expand, we are delighted to announce the position of an executive chef. The suitable candidate must be a master of Italian Cuisine with extensive experience and knowledge both Locally and International
He must be someone who can develop dishes and bring
out the best of Italian Culture on the plate
Responsibilities:
- Menu development
- Ability to coordinate numerous kitchens at the same time
- Staff training and development within the kitchen
- Quality assurance and management of food including interacting
with guests
- Responsible for orienting, training and coaching and
evaluation of new kitchen staff
- Ensuring that the (HACCP) is adhered to on a daily basis by
all members of staff
- Inventory and supplies management
- Seize control of issues in the kitchen
Skills & Qualifications:
- BS Degree or a diploma in Culinary Science
- 3+ years experience in a similar position
- Must have proper knowledge and international experience with
Italian Cuisine
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Leadership, Hand-Eye Coordination and Time Management skills
- Demonstrated ability and experience in overseeing large
production and kitchens with over 300 staff members
