Our client, an International Microfinance Bank with operations in Nairobi is looking to hire a deposit Mobilization Officer
Main Responsibilities
- Driving deposit mobilization for the bank and building
strategic relationships for fixed deposit customers.
- Working with other teams to develop and implement a business
development plan to improve deposit mobilization and retention of deposit
and also manage withdrawal attrition.
- Contributing to the development of innovative savings products
in line with customer needs and preferences
- Create and enhance new methods for rewarding depositors with
interest on ordinary and fixed deposits
- Involvement in the development and implementation of liability
growth strategy for the assigned product line
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Marketing or any
other business related course
- Previous work experience and proven track record as a deposits
mobilizer preferably in a Microfinance Bank
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and analytical
skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail, persuasive and self-driven
