Role Description
- This is a contract role as a Finance and Operations Manager at
Kivukoni School, located in Kilifi. As a Finance and Operations Manager,
you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and operational
activities of the school. This includes managing budgets, financial
reporting, procurement, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with
financial policies and procedures. This role requires on-site presence at
the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial management and operations,
preferably in an educational or non-profit organization
- Experience in fund-raising and transparency of the same
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and
forecasting
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Quick
Books online
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and vendor
management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
