As a
Water Engineer, you will operate and maintain water infrastructure systems to
ensure stable, reliable, and efficient 24/7 water supply and sewerage services.
The position will entail approximately 70% fieldwork and 30% office tasks.
Specific responsibilities will include, amongst others: –
- Lead
in designing and implementing water and sewerage projects, ensuring
compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead
field service activities, encompassing installing, operating, maintaining,
and repairing water and sewerage systems.
- Conduct
on-site inspections and assessments to identify technical requirements,
troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions.
- Coordinate
with project teams to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of
water and sewerage
- Ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing
water and sewerage systems.
- Promote
the Company’s safety practices at the workplace.
Requirements
Hard
skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Civil/Water Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree
preferred.
- Must
have at least 10 years of proven experience in water infrastructure
systems and at least 5 years in designs and O&M.
- Familiar
with regulatory standards and guidelines for water and sewerage.
- Experience
in project management, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
- Proficient
in relevant software tools for engineering design, data analysis, and
project management.
- Member
of relevant professional bodies.
