We are an interior design company, looking for a Digital Marketing intern to implement, track, and optimize our digital marketing strategy across all digital channels.
What will the Digital Marketing Intern do?
The Digital marketing
intern will work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as
programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns to grow our online presence to
reach potential clients.
You should have a strong
understanding of how the internet works and how to grow influence and a
following in the online space.
The candidate should also
have a strong knack
for telling stories using words and images.
Responsibilities
The intern will undertake
a brief training, carried out by a digital marketing consultant. Thereafter,
the intern should be able to:
Plan and execute all
digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media,
and display advertising campaigns.
Design, build, and
maintain our social media presence including writing blog articles on interior
design-related topics on our website.
Document our interior
design projects through photography and videography and thereafter update our
socials with the edited footage & photos in a timely fashion.
Alter our project images
via good graphics design to form covers for our portfolios and online
promotional posters.
Measure and report the
performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI
and KPIs)
Identify trends and
insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and
creative growth strategies
Evaluate emerging
technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where
appropriate
Requirements and skills
Experience with Graphics
Design Interior design OR Architecture.
Highly creative with
experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that
engage, inform, and motivate
Strong analytical skills
and data-driven thinking.
Strong writing skills.
Storytelling is a key part of this role.
Up-to-date with the latest
trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Ability to do video
editing and graphics design is an added advantage
Working experience in
digital marketing or social media marketing is an added advantage.
Experience in optimizing
landing pages and user funnels is an added advantage
Knowledge of website
analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) is an
added advantage.
Experience in setting up
and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns is an added advantage.
Working knowledge of HTML,
CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints) is an added advantage.
If the intern shows a good
grasp of these tasks after the probation period, they stand a chance to be
absorbed into the company.
