Ventures ltd, a target-based organization is seeking to hire a Debt Recovery
Officer who will be tasked with the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze
a list of tenants in arrears monthly based on the number of missed rent.
- Communicate
to tenants in arrears informing them of amount in arrears. Follow up
through phone call and SMS’s.
- Working
with the tenants on an agreed payment plan, send reminders before the
agreed due dates.
- Achieve
95% target on monthly basis of the portfolio given
- Answer
queries and offer advice to the members.
- Manage
a team allocated and the portfolio given.
- Attend
to field visits as directed.
- Refer
cases for restructure to the supervisor.
- Prepare
daily & monthly reports: Collections received, all follow-ups done,
Commitment dates agreed on.
- Any
other duty as assigned.
Qualifications
& Experience
- Diploma
in credit management, or its equivalent qualification.
- Minimum
two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency
in computer skills
- Proficiency
in computerized accounting system
- Personal
