Beacon of Hope Academy and
Junior Secondary School is a modern smart school located in Ongata Rongai

We seek a highly motivated and
qualified teacher to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The teacher will be responsible
for the following:
Nurturing learners in God’s image
Preparing lesson plans, lesson notes, timetables,
schemes of work and maintaining academic standards in the school to ensure that
the syllabus is covered in time for evaluation
Evaluating and preparing learners for national and
other assessments
Ensuring consistency and improvement in curriculum
delivery through teamwork and collaborative planning
Serving as a role model and maintaining learner
discipline to create a conducive environment for learning
Engaging learners in curricular and co-curricular
activities so as to identify, nurture and develop talent
QUALIFICATIONS
Mature Christian who is supportive of the beliefs,
calling and vision of Beacon of Hope
Minimum Diploma in Primary Teacher Education; P1
Certificate; a Degree is an added advantage
Certificate/Diploma in Leadership, Guidance and
Counseling or any other relevant course is an added advantage
Registered with the Teachers Service Commission
Two years teaching experience
Leader in co-curricular activities
Mastery of office software (MS Word, Excel, and Power
Point)
An effective team player that works collaboratively
and effectively with others and passionate about learning and teaching.
