Merlin (UK) an International Non-Governmental Organization specializing in the provision of health care worldwide has the following vacancies within its South Sudan Programme
1. ART Supervisor

The ART Supervisor will be part of this goal by overseeing the provision of ART services to the population of Magwi County.

S/he will assist the HIV management team in designing and implementing a strategy to address the ART needs of the population both at the health facilities and

the community.

Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma in clinical medicine or registered nurse
  • Training and experience in management of HIV/AIDS and ART.
  • Should be registered with the relevant professional bodies
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of any local language spoken in Southern Sudan would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working with an International Health NGO is desirable preferably in South Sudan
  • Ability to work in hardship situations with minimum amenities
2. VCT Supervisor

The VCT Supervisor in collaboration with the Medical Coordinator supervises the planned activities of the HIV project and is in charge of the implementation and follow-up of the VCT services in the target health facilities and communities.
Minimum requirements
  • Health Professional (Nurse, clinical officer, Public health officer) with minimum diploma level training
  • Must be a trained counsellor with minimum 2 years in a busy VCT centre/ programme
  • Excellent communication and diplomatic skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of any local language spoken in Southern Sudan would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working with an International Health NGO is desirable preferably in South Sudan
  • Ability to work in hardship situations with minimum amenities
