People & Culture Graduate Trainee supporting HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and personnel records management, requiring a Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, strong communication skills, and recent graduation status.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-potential, curious, and people-oriented People & Culture Graduate Trainee who is eager to learn, explore, and build a career in People & Culture.

This programme is designed to provide a 360-degree learning experience across the People & Culture function, enabling the trainee to understand how people, culture, capability, and organization strategy come together to drive organisational performance and sustainable growth.

Through structured rotations across key People & Culture disciplines, the trainee will gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle, know the team and the leadership , and apply academic knowledge to real workplace situations. The programme will combine on-the-job learning, practical assignments, project work, coaching, mentoring, and reflection to build technical capability.

Learning Areas;

Talent Acquisition

The trainee will learn how organisations attract, assess, and select talent aligned to current and future organization needs.

  • Gain exposure to workforce planning, talent sourcing, employer branding, recruitment analytics, and candidate experience.
  • Support recruitment activities and learn how effective selection contributes to organisational capability.
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen the organisation’s talent pipeline.
  • Develop an understanding of how talent acquisition supports organization growth and workforce strategy.

Talent Management, Development & Performance Management

The trainee will develop an understanding of how organisations build, retain, and grow the capabilities required for future success as well as manage performance.

  • Support new staff onboarding activities and build an understanding of how effective onboarding strengthens employee experience, workplace integration and role readiness. 
  • Support performance management processes and analysis to strengthen goal alignment, performance tracking, and reviews process.
  • Coordinate learning and capability-building initiatives that strengthen employee skills and align development with future organizational needs.
  • Support talent review and succession processes by preparing and analysing talent data to inform discussions on performance, potential, readiness, and development.

People Operations & Employee Experience

The trainee will develop a holistic understanding of the employee lifecycle and how effective people practices shape culture and employee experience.

  • Gain exposure to employee relations, reward and benefits, wellbeing, engagement, organisational culture, and People Operations.
  • Learn how policies, processes, and people practices influence employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen engagement, wellbeing, culture, and employee experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve People & Culture processes and services.
  • Develop an understanding of how People & Culture practices contribute to employee experience, performance and growth

People Analytics & Reporting

The trainee will learn how people’s data can be translated into insights that support better organization and people decisions.

  • Analyse people data, trends, and key workforce metrics.
  • Support the development of reports, dashboards, and management insights.
  • Learn to identify patterns, opportunities, and potential people-related risks through data.
  • Use data and organization context to inform recommendations and solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of how People and Culture data and insights support evidence-based decisions and workforce effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates- must have graduated within the last 1 years or are currently awaiting graduation.
  • Completed or ongoing with their CHRP Certification
  • Previous People & Culture/HR internship experience is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated interest in people, organization, learning, and organisational development.

  • The confidence to contribute meaningfully to People & Culture projects.
  • A stronger understanding of the trainee’s strengths, career interests, and areas for further development.
