International Centre for Reproductive Health is hiring an M&E Advisor – HIV & STI to lead monitoring and evaluation activities, track HIV and STI program performance, analyze data, prepare reports, and support evidence-based decision-making. The role is based in Nairobi, and experience in public health is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Mapping of the STI stakeholders at national level and subnational
level
- Review of the current STI data collection and reporting tools.
- Identify the gaps in the current STI data collection and reporting
tools
- Spearhead development of the new STI data collection and reporting
tools
- Review of the national STI M&E framework
- Identify gaps in the national STI M&E framework
- Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Health and relevant
stakeholders to co-design and institutionalize a robust national STI
M&E framework, indicators, and data visualization dashboards.
Personal Attributes
- Demonstrated experience supporting or working with Kenya’s national
HIV and STI programs and Ministry of Health structures.
- Strong understanding of health system strengthening for HIV, and STI
care and prevention interventions
- Experience with DHIS2, Taifa care (Tiberbu HMIS and KenyaEMR), KHIS,
other electronic health information systems, and data visualization tools
(e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Prior work experience working with government under donor funded
programs will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Health Informatics,
Public Health, or a related field. A clinical background is an added
advantage.
