Assistant Project Manager Job in Kenya - Fireside Group

Lead Fiber Technician at Fireside Group. Responsible for supporting project planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget. Requires a relevant qualification in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.

Qualifications

  • Certificate/ Diploma in Telecommunications, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Suites.

  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written.
  • Project management certifications is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project manager in planning and executing project activities
  • Coordinate with field teams, work schedules to ensure achievement of daily deliverables
  • Prepare daily and weekly project reports.
  • Ensure deliverables meet or exceed user expectations.
  • Ensure project adherence to required QEHS standards.
  • Track project progress and ensure client timelines and SLA are met.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders and provide accurate updates and reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication between clients and technical teams.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and expansion.
