Responsible for financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing reports, and supporting daily financial operations. Requires a relevant qualification in accounting, finance or a related field. The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post client invoices and accurately record sales in our
company accounting system
- Process supplier invoices and expenses, reconcile accounts, and
liaise with suppliers for statements and tax documentation.
- Perform M-Pesa and accounts payable reconciliations, ensuring
accuracy of financial records and reports.
- Monitor operational expenses, including vehicle costs, fuel usage,
staff imprest, and inventory records.
- Prepare payment vouchers, support payment processing, and ensure
timely issuance of proof of payment.
- Maintain proper documentation, enforce financial procedures, and
support procurement approvals and general finance operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field from
recognized University.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Level 4 required.
- At least 2 years of experience preferably within the tours and
travel industry or hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in Business Central System
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
