Tropical Heat is recruiting a Sales Export Administrator position in Limuru. Proficiency in export documentation, logistics coordination, and data analysis is required.

The successful candidate will contribute to the full lifecycle of export operations, from handling shipping documentation and compliance to analysing logistics data and updating tracking dashboards, helping to drive data-informed decisions across the company’s global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Export & Administrative Documentation: Prepare, verify, and organize essential export documents while maintaining compliance records.

  • Logistics Coordination: Assist in liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal teams to track shipment schedules and resolve logistics delays.
  • Data Preparation & Management: Clean, process, and organize export sales, freight costs, and shipping datasets to ensure data quality and operational transparency.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Maintain and update shipping tracking dashboards using spreadsheet tools and data visualization software to communicate logistics KPIs and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Process Documentation & Analysis: Document standard operating procedures for export workflows and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities or operational bottlenecks through data analysis.
  • Collaboration: Participate in supply chain team meetings and contribute actionable ideas to optimize international trade operations using data.

Qualifications

  • A recent graduate (within the last 12 months) of a Bachelor’s program in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of international trade concepts and standard commercial terms.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and data extraction tools for operational analysis.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or ERP systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills in handling logistics documentation and datasets.
  • Ability to communicate operational findings and logistics updates clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams.
