Administrative Assistant Job in Kenya - KRA

KRA is hiring an Administrative Assistant skilled in office management, record keeping, administrative support, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Summary

  • The jobholder will be responsible for providing executive support to the CEO and offer HR and Administrative Support in the office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and executive support to the CEO, HR function, and management team.
  • Coordinate office administration activities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support HR administrative processes including staff records management, onboarding coordination, leave tracking, and training logistics.
  • Receive, record, and distribute official correspondence, packages, and documents.

  • Organize meetings, prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Manage office supplies, filing systems, and general office records.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, appointments, and schedules for the CEO’s office.
  • Handle telephone calls, visitor reception, and stakeholder enquiries professionally.
  • Support internal and external communication with staff, clients, and service providers.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining office administration and HR procedures.
  • Handle administrative requests and provide general office support to staff and management.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least two (2) years’ relevant experience in administration, executive support, or human resource support.
  • Membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) or a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
