As a Trainer in the Digital Business Program, you will:
- Equip MSMEs with
skills to build no-code websites that are professional, user-friendly, and
impactful.
- Guide MSMEs in
utilizing social commerce and user-generated content to increase customer
engagement and market reach.
- Provide essential training on cybersecurity,
digital responsibility, and ethics to
help MSMEs build customer trust and navigate digital spaces confidently.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for MSMEs on no-code
website creation, social commerce strategies, and digital marketing best
practices.
- Offer tailored support to help MSMEs leverage
digital tools and resources for maximum reach and impact.
- Collaborate with Sote Hub and the UK Kenya Tech
Hub to ensure alignment with project objectives and government digital
infrastructure initiatives.
- Act as an ambassador for cybersecurity and
digital ethics, reinforcing best practices for building trust in online
commerce.
Eligibility
Requirements:
- Should be an entrepreneur with an existing
business, within Mombasa County.
- Should have experience in digital marketing,
social media engagement, or e-commerce.
- Knowledge of no-code platforms and/or experience
in website building without coding.
- Strong understanding of online marketplaces and
social commerce.
- Prior experience training MSMEs, especially in
digital literacy, is preferred.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, digital
responsibility, and ethical practices for online business.
