Internal Auditor Job in Kenya - ACFC

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gathering and collating financial data and reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of funds utilization;
  • Checking on budgetary controls;
  • Ensuring compliance with set budget and work plan;
  • Carrying out audit checks and verification of payments;
  • Preparing audit observation reports;
  • Participating in preparation of internal audit reports; and
  • Participating in preparation and implementation of annual work plans, budgets and reports.

Qualifications and Experience


  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting Economics, Business Administration or any other related disciplines
  • Professional accounting qualifications of CPA (K)/ACCA or its equivalent;
  • Registration and membership to a relevant professional body;
  • Proficiency in computer application; and
  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
