Principal Accountabilities
(Typical
duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or
contract.)
- Establishes work requirements, coordinates, prioritizes and
successfully completes short and long term projects.
- Has oversight over Faculties Cleaning, Temporary, and Permanent
Housing procedures and processes for base.
- Manages objectives, strategy and performance through development of
annual plans, budgets and short and long range plans as well as monitoring
performance relative to established plans and budgets.
- Ensures that all purchasing and inventory control for the facility
is cost effective.
- Ensures building integrity and maintenance of electrical, water, air
systems and maintenance of facility grounds.
- Oversees facility operation including general maintenance of HVAC
and electrical systems and installation of customer and company
mechanical/electrical solutions.
- Provides work and service requests where required.
- Oversees and implements all safety policies and procedures. Ensure
that all safety requirements are observed.
- Prepares and presents reports to senior management regarding the
status of facilities activities, construction and/or renovation projects
as required.
- Responsible for the employment, training and performance evaluation
of Facilities employees.
- Coordinates Housing assignments with USAG-KA Representatives.
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of building operations and management.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and people skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract and will be
listed separately.
Experience &
Education
- Eight (8) years of experience in facilities, housing management.
- Preferred at least five (5) years of related management experience.
- Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or
assignment.
