Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or
related field.
- Cpa (k) certified public accountant of kenya (completed or
finalist). Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced skills in microsoft excel and financial reporting tools.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience, preferably within
the healthcare sector, medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, or related
service industries.
- Experience with healthcare billing, insurance claims, or nhif (sha)
processes is a strong advantage.
Main responsibilities
- Financial planning, budgeting & forecasting.
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow
projections.
- Financial accounting & reporting.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with ifrs and kenyan
accounting standards.
- Revenue cycle & healthcare billing.
- Oversee patient billing, insurance claims, sha reimbursements, and
collections.
- Accounts payable & receivable. Manage supplier invoices,
payments, and reconciliations.
- Cash flow & treasury management.
- Manage daily cash flows, bank accounts, and reconciliations.
- Taxation & statutory compliance.
- Prepare and file statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with kra, sha, and other regulatory bodies.
